The Fundamentals of Yoga is a progressive 7 week course designed for students who are new to yoga or those who need a stronger foundation. This course teaches the basics and helps students develop strength, balance, flexibility and experience the peace of mind yoga promises to deliver.
The course teaches the fundamental poses (forward bends, lateral poses, twists, inversions and back bends), pose alignment, breathing techniques,and the history and philosophy of the tradition of yoga.
This course is appropriate for people of all fitness levels and perfect for those who have never taken yoga.
We will be meeting Sundays 1/3-2/14 from 11:30 - 1:30 / Tuition = $108
